As an alternative to having your concert recorded you can choose
to record in session. Many directors prefer this method of making a recording
because of the added flexibility and the opportunity to focus on the performance details.
Because recording in session allows more control of the evnironment and the performance
you'll have time to “get it right.” You can restart a piece, do multiple “takes”, and
listen to playback to make decisions.
During your recording session
your engineer can be a good sounding board if you wish; they can teach soloists a bit of
microphone technique, and give other suggestions for helping you make a good recording.
Our goal is more than simply making a good recording for you
-- we want you and your group members to enjoy and learn from the time spent
in session.
The session package is priced the same as the concert recording
package. (See the Cost and Profit Schedule
And, just like the concert recording package, there is no fee at all
when ordering 75 or more CDs.
